Healthy Futures
The health care challenges facing West Virginia are not unique - our response is! The Center's programs have demonstrated measurable success in improving access to care and the health status of citizens in communities throughout our state. To further the Center's work, our Healthy Futures Campaign creates opportunities through public/private partnerships to fulfill the Center's mission of improving access to health care services throughout West Virginia, as well as improve the health of our state's residents.
Please become part of West Virginia's Healthy Future by becoming one of our private partners. Several investment opportunities are available. The Center for Rural Health Development, Inc. is a participating organization in the Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP). NIP was established by the West Virginia Legislature in 1996 to increase charitable giving to local non-profit organizations. Businesses and individuals who contribute to NIP organizations are eligible to receive up to 50 percent of the contributed amount in the form of state tax credits. Donors may use the credits to reduce liability for the following West Virginia taxes:
- Corporate Net Income Tax

- Personal Income Tax
