Take Your Best Shot is West Virginia's Adolescent Immunization Project, developed to address the problem of low vaccination rates among adolescents ages 11 to 21 years.

Through Take Your Best Shot, the West Virginia Immunization Network (WIN) is working to place West Virginia at the forefront of states in protecting the health of our adolescents.  Without well-planned strategic communication initiatives such as those conducted by Take Your Best Shot, immunization rates are difficult to sustain and most often fall.

ABOUT Take Your Best Shot - As with all of the Center's programs, Take Your Best Shot works through a public/private partnership to accomplish its work.  Thus, the Center works directly with the West Virginia Division of Immunization Services and other agencies as well as private partners to develop and implement Take Your Best Shot.

The West Virginia Immunization Network (WIN) is a statewide coalition of over 100 organizational and individual members that works in partnership with the West Virginia Division of Immunization Services.
