Rural Health Policy Institute

The Center for Rural Health Development, Inc. conducts the Rural Health Policy Institute  for the purpose of providing a neutral forum to bring together consumers, health care providers, community leaders and policy makers to share information and enhance understanding leading to the development of policy that best addresses the health needs of rural communities in West Virginia.

Previous sessions of the Institute have focused on the following issues: Children’s Health Insurance Program, Provider Sponsored Organizations/Networks and Transitioning West Virginia’s Public Health System: Ensuring the Public’s Health.
